Creating a Layers

Step 1:

Go to Layer >> New >> Layer.



or you can use Ctrl + Shift + N.

Step 2:

A 'New Layer' box will appear then press 'OK' to acquire it.



Step 3:

The new layer have appear above the 'background' layer in the workspace.



OR

Step 1:

Inside the workspace, there is an icon that have been highlight with red box beside the 'thrash bin' icon.



Step 2:



It will automatically create a new layer and this is a shortcut way to instantly create layers.

I Lurve Dolls!

It's like choosing a caramel tea or watermelon sorbet, life is tough.... really. So, after five minutes of mental clash battle... I decided to do 'Hinamatsuri' over 'Toro Nagashi'.

Brain Facts 1: Hinamatsuri means doll festival while Toro Nagashi means Lantern Floating.

Brain Facts 2: Both festivals originated from Japan... well maybe not for Toro Nagashi since it's kinda a Japanese and Chinese combination festival.

So what's Hinamatsuri?

As we know, Hinamatsuri is a Doll Festival or also known as 'Sangatsu Sekku' or 'Momo Sekku' or 'Joshi no Sekku'. Other meaning for their name is 3rd Month Festival or Peach Festival or Girl's Festival.

The dolls use in Hinamatsuri is for to ward off evil spirits and they are lined up on a platform according to their ranks in imperial palace hierarchy. This festival is specially for girls, families generally start to display the dolls around mid-February and take down the platforms immediately after the festival. Superstition says that leaving the dolls out past March 4 will result in a late marriage for the daughter.

Interesting Facts: Interestingly, they never mention if boys can join for this festival... :DD

The rest is unknown as we speak but her final message says "I will be watching you".
